I agree 200%! I even have little treasures, I call them from Mandi, I will never get use to calling her that, still even sitting around the house. A tiny picture of her with the Easter Bunny, when I go by it I smile. I remember that day like yesterday. A key chain that I still carry today! Has survived many years. A casting she made in school of Santa that still goes on my tree every year! Memories are priceless! I have recently, looked at files and such on my computer to clean up and can't believe I even kept them, because I may still have the same interest or hobby, but compared to my newer stuff, its very basic and I have surpassed them. Needless to say I didn't get much cleaning up done. I kept them because I remember when they were created and where I was in that point in my life! A lot of things were enlightening and emotional. You know that I am a Christian, I use that word loosely, it doesn't mean the same the everyone, but old notes in my Bible that I can't believe I thought that way or cherry picking verses to say what I wanted instead of context! That too was enlightening! A lot of growth from the early days of my faith! Every road i traveled and experience i had shaped me into the person I am today. Some good and some not so good, some joy and lots of pain. I am sure if I attempt to do this 10 years down the road that my reaction will be the same. How did I ever believe that? Or i made things so complicated.
